For experts!

My internet speed is 500 kb (tested on speedtest.net) i do not use any proxy.When i download maximum speed is 75 kb/s.Ihave antivirus NIS 2012.I think download speed is slower than it is supposed because i use antivirus NIS 2012 and firewall.How to increase download speed?

Dude...Increasing the download speed will make the file that u downloaded corrupted...in other word..it impossible to hack internet speed...just upgrade it Smile

Use ESET Smart Security or Avast Antivirus. If you have fast internet speed, try Kaspersky Internet Security. Don't use KIS if your computer is slow.

Turn off Firewall. Theres no need for firewall when you have a Internet Security Suite. I would personally recommend Webroot Security Essentials. Top 1 Antivirus and Firewall Software.

Thanks for this info. All my friends use the NOD32, I never heard of this one.

I always used the well known ones and the one my friends suggest me. That's why I didn't heard for this one.

Internet Security of course. It provides better protection than Antivirus version.

If you're using Kaspersky for example, the best version is Pure.

Well Eset Smart Security is great, the firewall and user interface can't let you down. It may not be a virus, it may be a settings on your pc. So check it and see or reboot your router with your pc. Have you tried typing IP commands in command prompt? theses help.

/release Release the IP address for the specified adapter.
/renew Renew the IP address for the specified adapter.
/flushdns Purges the DNS Resolver cache.
/registerdns Refreshes all DHCP leases and re-registers DNS names

Can be your ISP also. Last time I got slow speed. It was their fault. They registered me with a slow speed :@

He should really try this. This could be a source of problem.
