ABOUT CHARLES

Charles is a web proxy ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] / [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) that runs on your own computer. Your web browser (or any other Internet application) is then configured to access the Internet through Charles, and Charles is then able to record and display for you all of the data that is sent and received.
In Web and Internet development you are unable to see what is being sent and received between your web browser / client and the server. Without this visibility it is difficult and time-consuming to determine exactly where the fault is. Charles makes it easy to see what is happening, so you can quickly diagnose and fix problems.

Confirmed: it works.
Make sure you move the Crack into your program directory.
e.g. C:Program Files/Charles
then run as admin for the file and click patch.

Note: if your antivirus detects it as a malware or a trojan, etc. disable your antivirus, run the program and then remove it activate anti-virus, scan and then your good.

Tested in SandBox mode to confirm that it's clean. Very Happy

crack wouldn't work on mac because all it does is overwrite the .exe file and for mac all downloads are .dmg files

this is what i'm sayin' you don't know much about charles, a simple complain makes you loose patience and resort to your own conclusion of it not being so useful, better, study using it before ignoring it...

hahaha.

that is because you over do your settings, is there any hack that has the instructions on changing the http port to "8080" and checking the check box "transparent HTTP proxying"? that is one of the problem with you and i think you're not good when it comes to following an instructions. its not bad that you explore in fact its a good thing but also remember the risks when doing so. it is timely that you remove/uninstall your charles and reinstall it back again, since i totally don't know what settings you did on your charles. that's the best suggestion i could do.

***note: i've checked my charles setting and i have the port:8888 and the transparent http proxying check box were unchecked with regards to the link you've posted above^..
